As children, we draw and paint to express things we don’t yet have words for, and this process remains valuable even as adults. In art therapy, this “analog process” is reactivated using creative materials, much like in dance or music therapy. This process not only helps to express emotions but also provides insight into one’s inner world. It can support processing past experiences that still impact us today. As an artist, I have personally experienced the power of this process and want to help others explore their own inner growth.
